We participated to the 22nd Nontron Knife Festival from August 1st to 7th: fire , cavern painting and adornment workshops as well as demonstrations and exposition were on the agenda.
Hiking on the prehistoric site of Le Blot

Nearly 3 million years old, the Blot cliff was formed with a previous lava flow from the Pié du Roy volcano on the current right bank of the Allier. This one, digging through its base the flow, formed the cliff and a rock shelter used by Paleolithic men.
Intervention at the Lamothe school

Layout of the workshop

On August 6 and 7, 2016 we were invited to the 21st Nontron (24) Knife Festival.
It is one of the 3 major festival organized in France, with Coutellia in Thiers (63) and SICAC (75).
